<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management system and method for easily treating a paper document on which an electronic document is printed. <P>SOLUTION: This image formation apparatus 20 is provided with: an RFID antenna 22a for reading identification information attached to a sheet 5 on which an electronic document is printed; an RFID controller 23 for reading the electronic document from a database 100 in which the electronic document associated with the identification information attached to the sheet 5 is stored on the basis of the identification information attached to the sheet 5; a print mechanism 28 for printing the read electronic document on a sheet 6; and an RFID antenna 22b for reading the identification information attached to the sheet 6.
