PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function of recording the information on position, direction, etc. when photographing together with the image information and of outputting these information, when reproducing the image. SOLUTION: The electronic camera includes an image information processing system which consists of an image signal inputting means 401, having a structure including a CCD, etc., an image signal recording and reproducing means 402 such as a microcomputer, an image signal storage device 403 such as a RAM, an image signal outputting means 404 such as a liquid crystal panel, etc. and an image accessory information processing system which consists of a positional information input means 409, such as a GPS antenna, a directional information input means 410, such as a magnetic directional device, an image accessory information storing and controlling device 406 such as a microcomputer, an image accessory information storage device 407 such as a RAM. At recording, image accessory information, such as the position, direction is stored together with the image information. At reproducing, however the image information is output together with the image accessory information, since an instruction input means 405 controls the image information processing system together with the image accessory information processing system.
