PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar unit mounting structure capable of reducing impact acting on a radar unit at the time of light collision from a front side of a vehicle, and preventing the breakage of the radar unit. SOLUTION: A pair of right and left shroud stays coupling a shroud upper and a shroud lower of a shroud is provided. The radar unit for detecting an obstacle is mounted to an upper half portion of the pair of the shroud stays through a pair of right and left mounting plates and a mounting plate main body. A lower end portion of the shroud stay 20 is coupled to a shroud lower 7 so as not to separate. When a collision load is acted from a front side, an upper portion of the shroud stay 20 is separated from a shroud upper 6, and the radar unit is retracted to ease impact.
