An airbag main body (1) has an integral bottom (1.1) and top (1.2) sewn with right and left sides (5,6) to define an internal cavity (2). An air inlet port (3) is provided at the bottom. Four arrester straps (4.1,4.2,4.3,4.4) are arranged within the cavity. Each strap has one end attached to the bottom at a location close to the inlet port, and another end attached to the top. An independent claim is also included for a method of folding an airbag.
