PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radius end mill machining a material to be cut with high machining efficiency, smoothly finishing the machined surface, and manufactured at a low cost, and also to provide a cutting method using the radius end mill. SOLUTION: In this radius end mill, a corner blade 18 is formed between an outer peripheral blade 15 and a bottom blade 17. The corner blade 18 is projected on the tip of an end mill body 11 and then curved toward the rear end side. The bottom blade 7 is formed to go toward the rear end side of the end mill body 11 as it goes from the corner blade 18 toward the inner peripheral side, the rake angleαin the direction of the axis O of the corner blade 18 is set in the region of -10°≤α≤+10°, and the cutting face 18A of the corner blade 18 and the cutting face 17A of the bottom blade 17 are formed flush with each other.
