PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner in which irregular scanning is eliminated by eliminating the influence of an optical face tangle error, particularly in an optical scanner of a color laser beam printer or the like. SOLUTION: The optical scanner is provided with a deflecting device which repeatedly deflects a light beams which are made incident from a plurality of light sources, two or more beams light beams are emitted from the respective light sources, and the deflector is composed of a plurality of reflecting mirror faces and deflects each light beam which is made incident from each light source corresponding to each reflecting mirror face.
