PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile body use digital broadcast receiver capable of relieving user's feelings that is automatically switched between digital broadcasting for a fixed apparatus and digital broadcasting for a mobile body by informing the user about the quality of a reception state. SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiver specifies an area for fixed apparatuses, an area for mobile bodies, and a gray zone bridged over borders of the areas into: a first area (1) being the area for the fixed apparatuses other than the gray zone; a second area (2) being the area for a side of the fixed apparatuses in the gray zone; a third area (3) being the area for a side of the mobile bodies in the gray zone; and a fourth area (4) being the area outside the third area (3) and for a side of the mobile bodies. The receiver displays indicators denoting the quality of the reception state in response to each area. Further, the user easily recognizes the presence in the gray zone being the second area (2) and the third area (3) by blinking the indicators and the receiver informs the user about a message such as "the display is soon switched to the broadcasting for the fixed apparatuses (mobile bodies)".
