A data carrier is a radio frequency identification chip (4). Data stored on the chip includes compressed-air setting values for a vehicle's tire. It also comprises a registration code and/or speed limit for a tire and/or type of tire and/or position of tire. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) A compressed-air container for feeding compressed air into tires and letting it out; (2) A data carrier to fit near or on a tire valve.
