PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a driving system compact as a whole, and to improve the balance of the driving system. SOLUTION: The driving system 1 comprises an engine 3, a speed-reducing mechanism, a front differential gear 7, and a clutch 9 engaging/disengaging driving torque transmitted from the engine 3 to axles 17, 19. The front differential gear 7 and the clutch 9 are arranged in parallel in a vehicular width direction. First sides of the front differential gear 7 and the clutch 9 and the engine 3 are arranged so as to face in a radial direction. The clutch 9 arranged so as to face in the radial direction with the engine 3 is arranged in a cover member divided and fixed to a supporting carrier. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
