PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a commission analysis and preparing samples for Elisa's law by measuring a residual pesticide concentration with a residual pesticide sensor comprising an infrared spectrophotometer and sorting, and to sort vegetables and fruits without breaking. SOLUTION: The vegetable and fruit sorting mechanism comprises a pesticide sorting device 22 sorting vegetables and fruits depending on the residual pesticide concentration measured by the residual pesticide sensor 20, and a control means 10 controlling the residual pesticide sensor 20 and the pesticide sorting device 22, and comprises an internal quality measuring device 4 measuring the internal quality such as a sugar content and acidity of the vegetable and fruit 6, and an internal quality sorting device 8 sorting the vegetable and fruit 6 depending on the measured internal quality. One or more second conveying means 16 are arranged at the downstream of the internal quality sorting device 8, and the residual pesticide sensor 20 and the pesticide sorting device 22 are arranged on the second conveying means 16.
