PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver in which running torque can be enhanced by reducing moment of inertia, and to provide a quantity of light adjuster. SOLUTION: The quantity of light adjuster comprises a quantity of light adjusting mechanism equipped with a ground board 4 and a shutter blade 7, and a driver equipped with a magnet 1, a coil 2, a stator yoke 3 and a rotor yoke 5. The magnet 1 has portions magnetized with S pole and N pole alternately in the circumferential direction. The coil 2 is wound coaxially with the magnet 1 and juxtaposed to the magnet 1 in the axial direction. The stator yoke 3 secures the magnet 1 and the coil 2. The rotor yoke 5 has a magnetic pole 51 opposing the magnetized surface of the magnet 1 and excited by the coil 2 and supported rotatably for the stator yoke 3. Rotation of the rotor yoke 5 is regulated within 360/N°by the rotation regulating portion 44 of the ground board 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
