PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator unit for bicycles capable of supplying power to an electrical power consumption part fixed to the body of a bicycle without requiring any additional wires. SOLUTION: This power generator unit for bicycles comprises a generator 20 having its driven wheel supported to be abutted against or spaced apart from a wheel of a bicycle 90, biasing means 34 for biasing the driven wheel to be abutted against the wheel of the bicycle 90, an operating part 40 fixed to the body of the bicycle and a wire 70 having one end connected to the generator 20 and the other end connected to the operating part, wherein the wire 70 is pulled with the operating part 40, the generator 20 is moved against the biasing force of the biasing means 34 and the driven wheel is spaced apart from the wheel of the bicycle 90. The body of the bicycle is provided with an electrical power consumption part 80. The generator 20 has an earth side output part electrically connected to the electrical power consumption part 80 through a frame 92 of the bicycle 90 and a plus side output part 31 electrically connected to the wire 70.
