The free end (12) of the winding arm (4) carries a second differently driven drawing roller (17) in axi-parallel orientation. This rests against the bale circumference. Both rollers are accommodated in a shield (18) at the free end of the winding arm. To adjust speed difference between the first and second drawing rollers (13, 17), individual drives are used, or a common drive is equipped with a transmission (23) connecting the rollers. Only the second roller (17) rests on the bale, the first conveys the material (14) onto its circumference.
