A method and an apparatus for automatically establishing a wireless network are provided to enhance user convenience in establishing a network by automatically generating a wireless network environment between an AP(Access Point) and a wireless device. When a wireless device newly added to a wireless network is turned on(S10), it is automatically connected with an auxiliary AP(S11). The auxiliary AP requests a network setup value from a main AP(S12). The main AP provides a network setup value to the auxiliary AP(S13). The auxiliary AP transfers the network setup value to the wireless device(S14). The wireless device is connected with the main AP according to the network setup value(S15), and stores a network environment according to a network connection state(S16). The wireless network is turned off and then turned on again(S17), then, it is directly connected with the main AP according to the stored network environment(S18).
