[Problems] To provide a data processing device such as a text mining device capable of extracting characteristic structures correctly even in case a plurality of words indicating identical contents or a plurality of words having meaning relations are contained in input data. [Means for Solving the Problems] Related node extracting means (22) of a text mining device (10) extracts related nodes containing words having meaning relations from graphs obtained as a result of syntax analyses. Related node junctioning means (23) junctions the related nodes partially or wholly to deform the graphs. Characteristic structure extracting means (24) extracts the characteristic structure from the graphs deformed by the node junction means.
