The method involves activating a low warning level if an actual pressure value falls below a critical pressure value. An actual distance mileage of vehicle tires and actual data are stored. Mileage path distance and elapsed time interval are controlled from activation of the level. A high warning level is activated if the distance exceeds a predetermined tolerance path distance or the time interval exceeds a tolerance-time interval.
