PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise storage rack, capable of reducing the possibility of a merchandise getting blocked halfway in the merchandise passageway. SOLUTION: The merchandise storage rack is formed by composing a merchandise passageway where merchandises are stored, by disposing a plurality of merchandise guiding means 26 for guiding merchandises along a vertical direction. The merchandise guiding means are constituted, by arranging a plurality of merchandise guiding members 27 in parallel, laterally in the merchandise passageway. The merchandise guiding members are so constituted such that they are placed in an advanced position to occupy a portion of the merchandise passageway in a normal state; while when a merchandise comes into contact with the merchandise guiding members, only those members which come into contact with the merchandise retreat separately and allow the merchandise to pass.
