PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce lens noise in automatic focusing operation in a lens driving system using a flat coil type voice coil motor for an actuator for a focusing lens of an imaging device. SOLUTION: A strike sound due to chattering of a lens holding part is reduced by suppressing a motor thrust at the start/end of movement by performing control so that moving speeds at the start/end of movement are limited to less than specified upper-limit values.
