A high efficient inverter using a PDP(Plasma Display Panel) is provided to maximize reduction of power consumption by using an PFC(Power Factor Correction). An input filter unit(10) receives commercial power and prevents a noise from being exposed. An input rectifier(20) rectifies the commercial power transmitted through the input filter unit(10) and converts the rectified power into a plus pulsation voltage. An auxiliary power unit(30) receives the voltage rectified in the input rectifier(20), and provides DC voltage power to each element of the inverter. A power factor correction unit(40) reduces power consumption by reducing a phase difference of a current and a voltage in the input rectifier(20) and the auxiliary power unit(30). The power factor correction unit(40) maximizes reduction of power consumption by using a power factor correction. A DC switching unit(50) switches a voltage in the power factor correction unit(40). A reactor unit(60) charges energy of the voltage rectified in the input rectifier(20). A rectifying and smoothing unit(70) rectifies the voltage received from the reactor unit(60) and the DC switching unit(50) to a DC voltage, and generates a stable voltage. An inverter unit(80) receives the stable voltage generated in the rectifying and smoothing unit(70) and generates an AC voltage through an oscillator and a switching driver. The inverter unit(80) transmits an AC voltage to a high voltage transformer through AC switching. A control unit(90) controls lighting of a plasma glass panel by adjusting the voltage generated through the oscillator and the switching driver unit of the inverter unit(80).
