<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal continuously variable transmission capable of efficiently supplying lubrication oil to a power roller side by suppressing supplying loss of the lubrication oil and capable of making a lubrication pump small. <P>SOLUTION: In the toroidal continuously variable transmission of this invention, the lubrication oil flows to a radial needle bearing 200 in a circle hole 21 through a first oil passage 300a, flows from the first oil passage 300a to a second oil passage 300b and reaches a thrust ball bearing 24 and a radial needle bearing 98 through the second oil passage 300b and a third oil passage 300c. In this case, as an outer ring 200b of the radial needle bearing 200 is equipped with a sealing member 310 for sealing the lubrication oil to be supplied to the radial needle bearing 200 in the circle hole 21 of a trunnion 15, the lubrication oil to be supplied to the radial needle bearing 200 is prevented from being supplied to the thrust needle bearing 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
