<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner transport device using a transport coil with high transport performance. <P>SOLUTION: The toner transport device has the casing of a toner transport passage 26 and a freely rotatable spiral coil auger 27 disposed in the casing, wherein the coil auger 27 is rotated to transport toner 29 from one end of the coil auger 27 toward the other end along its axial direction. On a section along the axis of the coil auger 27, the angle of inclination of a face of a tabular part of the coil auger 27 on the rear side of the toner transport direction to the inner wall surface of the casing of the transport passage 26 is ≤90°. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
