PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that can execute photographing before printing by a printer is finished. SOLUTION: A digital camera 1 informs a cradle unit 2 about end of transfer (step S608) when the transfer of full print data is finished and a display/sounding section 54 implements end display or end sounding (step S609). Further, the end display or end sounding of the display/sounding section 54 is erased (execution of automatic shut-off function) at a lapse of a prescribed time after the end display or end sounding in the step S609 and automatic charging of a power supply section 86 is started (step S610).
