PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor exhibiting excellent workability in welding an electric wire to a winding of the electric wire and in connecting a riser to a ring varistor. SOLUTION: In the motor 1, the free end of the riser 15 is bent into an L-shape so as to move away from the ring varistor 20 formed as an electric wire winding section 18 with the electric wire W wound around an electric wire winding section 18 of the riser 15 separated away from the ring varistor by a predetermined interval S. As a result, the welding work between the electric wire W and the electric wire winding section 18, and soldering work between the riser 15 and the ring varistor 20 can be improved. Furthermore, the separation of the electric wire winding section 18 and the ring varistor 20 by a predetermined interval makes it hard to generate a welded mass on the ring varistor 20 side on welding the electric wire W to the electric wire winding section 18. The use of welding for the connecting the electric wire W to the electric wire winding portion 18 helps to avoid a "copper corrosion cracking phenomenon". COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
