PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quality testing method, a manufacturing method and a manufacturing apparatus for a testpiece obtained in a simple manufacturing process and used for analyzing a bio-related substance, which select a carrier good in quality by testing a result of a chemical treatment on carrier surfaces, when manufacturing the testpiece used for analyzing the bio-related substance, and also to provide a method using the testpiece for analyzing the bio-related substance. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the testpiece used for analyzing the bio-related sutstance comprises: an immobilizing substance binding step of binding an immobilizing substance which immobilizes a specific binder with respect to the bio-related substance, to the surface of a carrier, thereby producing a processed carrier; a measuring step of measuring the amount of the immobilizing substance on the processed carrier; and a specific binder immobilizing step of immobilizing the specific binder to the immobilizing substance on the processed carrier. The manufacturing apparatus is equipped with corresponding means. The quality testing method for the test piece used for analyzing the bio-related substance, measures the amount of the immobilizing substance bound to the surface of the processed carrier, before immobilizing the specific binder.
