PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a card on which a using method or the like is described from being directly exposed to rain or wind, and to thereby preserve it for a long period to the extent of a using period of a flow measuring device such as a gas meter. SOLUTION: The gas meter 1 has inside a flow measuring means, an isolation valve, a mechanical counter 4, a liquid crystal display device 6 or the like. The mechanical counter 4 displays an integrated value, and the liquid crystal display device 6 displays monitoring information, an alarm or the like. When an abnormality is generated during use of gas, the effect is displayed on the liquid crystal display device 6, and the isolation valve is closed. The closed isolation valve is reset to the previous state by pressing a reset button 7 following an operation procedure described on a reset operation card 9. The reset operation card 9 is inserted inside the gas meter from a slit 8 formed on a lower cover 5 of the gas meter 1 and stored. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
