PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming an image of a ceramic work by which an encapsulated glaze is pasted on a position preferable for the ceramic work and baked without necessitating the skill of a ceramic worker. SOLUTION: An adhesive compound 2 is laminated on the surface of the unglazed ceramic work 1 in S101, a releasing layer 3 is laminated on the surface of the adhesive compound 2 in S102, a rough drawing 4 demarcated for each color of the image is drawn on the surface of the releasing layer 3 in S103, an exposing area of the adhesive compound 2 which is demarcated for each color of the image is formed by making cut on the releasing layer 3 along the outline of the rough drawing 4 to release the rough drawing 4 from the surface of the releasing layer 3 in S104, a capsule 5 is pasted on the surface of the exposed area of the adhesive compound 2 for every color of the image 6 in S105, the releasing layer 3 remaining on the surface of the ceramic work 1 is stripped off in S106 and the ceramic work 1 is fired with the capsule 5 in S107.
