<p>An airbag device is provided, in which an airbag having a left airbag section and a right airbag section is folded by a new folding method. An airbag 10 includes a left airbag section 12 inflated on the left in front of a passenger; a right airbag section 14 inflated on the right in front of the passenger; and a base chamber 16 that connects ends of the left airbag section 12 and the right airbag section 14. When the left airbag section 12 and the right airbag section 14 are folded, the lower halves of the bags 12 and 14 from a connecting band 18 are folded back upward along a line L 1 that connects the lower edge of the connecting band 18 and the lower edge of the fixing plate 36 (Fig. 5).</p> |
