A dish washer is provided to preclude the dirty washing water and impurities from being flowed in the steam pipe by forming the steam valve in the steam pipe. A dish washer comprises: a tub; a sump mounted at the lower side of the tub; an air brake(40) installed at one side of the tub and formed with a water supply passage inside; a water container(15) connected to the water supply passage and mounted with a heater(20) inside; a steam pipe(12) whose one end is connected to the water container and the other end is communicated with the tub; a sump pipe(13) for discharging the washing water of the water container into the sump after finishing the steam supply; and a sump valve(14) mounted in the sump pipe to control the inflow of the water. A steam valve is mounted at one part of the steam pipe to control the inflow of the steam.
