Verification of an address decoder

The verification method involves determining the contents of the base address and selecting the address with hamming distance from the base address identified as the hamming address. The contents of the hamming address selected in the previous step are changed. The method also involves reading the base address and detemining the error of the address decoder, if the read content differs from the content determined in the first step. The contents of the hamming address are restored. An independent claim is also included for data carrier.
