An automatic frequency control method includes: a first step for detecting a frequency deviation ?f<SUB>BS</SUB> of an upstream signal transmitted from a moving device MS by a base station BS; a second step for transmitting, by the base station BS, an increase/decrease instruction amount f<SUB>cont</SUB> of a transmission frequency f<SUB>MS</SUB> of the upstream signal to the moving device MS according to the frequency deviation ?f<SUB>BS</SUB> of the upstream signal; and a third step for shifting, by the moving device MS, the transmission frequency f<SUB>MS</SUB> of the upstream signal according to the increase/decrease instruction amount f<SUB>cont</SUB> transmitted from the base station BS.
