A joint terminal ( 20 c) has a coupling ( 41 ) that initially is substantially parallel with a carrier ( 51 ). The coupling ( 41 ) has an intermediate portion ( 45 ) joined to the carrier ( 51 ) by an extension ( 52 ) and is held substantially coplanar with the carrier ( 51 ). The coupling ( 41 ) is bent on opposite ends of the intermediate portion ( 45 ) while the intermediate support ( 45 ) and the carrier ( 51 ) are being held to define a first support ( 43 ) that support first tabs ( 42 ) and a second support ( 44 ) that supports second tabs ( 22 ).
