A light diffuser formed by injection molding a thermoplastic resin into a generally rectangular shape having a diagonal of 400 mm or longer characterized in that the thickness variation is 200 mum or less, the warp is 2 mm or less, the transmittance variation is 8% or less, and the variation of the y value of reflected light is 0.004 or less. The light diffuser exhibits high luminance while suppressing the luminance variation and has a feature enabling a high quality display screen of a liquid crystal display.
