A drainage system for a washstand is provided to keep the lower space of a washstand clean by opening a drainage hole stopper, using a flexible cable for power transmission and to promote convenience of construction by operating the stopper exactly and controlling the installation position of an operation unit for a cable freely. The drainage system for a washstand comprises: a stopper(52) installed to the inside of a drainpipe(18) to be reciprocated and composed of an extension part(52b) extended vertically, a stopper unit(52a) located on the top of the extension part to stop up a drainage hole(12a) when the extension part descends, and a protrusion(52c) and a pressure surface(52d) formed on the exterior of the extension part; an elastic support(64) fixed in a drainpipe(20) and attached with the stopper to support the stopper elastically; a stopping block(56) catching the protrusion and fixing the stopper temporarily when the stopper moves downward by external force; a spring(58) supporting the stopping block toward the pressure surface; and a drainage hole opening device spacing out the stopping block from the protrusion to ascend the stopper, and containing an operation unit(68) installed to the certain position of a washstand(50) and a flexible cable(60) connecting the operation unit and the stopping block. |
