<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor reduced in size/weight, and having a configuration in which a blow-by gas containing a lubricating oil lubricates a sliding part of a seal member. <P>SOLUTION: Inside a cylinder (2) provided in housings (1, 2, 3), which constitutes an outer part of the compressor, a piston (8) reciprocates to suck, compress, and discharge a liquid. The piston is connected to a shaft (4) driven and rotated by a power source via a swash plate (6) and a lug plate (4a), so that a rotational movement of the shaft is converted into a reciprocating movement to be transmitted to the piston (8). Bearings (11, 13) rotatably support the shaft in the vicinity of one end of the housing (1). A seal member (12) for securing airtightness inside the compressor is placed in the vicinity of the bearings. A first bleed passage (19) is provided in the lug plate.
