摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support and automatically change optimization of a calculation pitch width which is an essential factor for simulation accuracy and calculation speed. <P>SOLUTION: A simulation body 10 performs simulation calculation by discretion of a differential equation showing a time change quantity of material concentration in an activated sludge model in a period of calculation distortion widthΔt, and corrects, when a material concentration having a negative value appears in the calculation process, it to zero. A counter display function 31 displays the generation frequency of material concentrations having negative values. A trend graph display function 32 graphically displays the generation frequency. A history formation function 33 graphically displays material items and systems in which the negative values were generated. An automatic change function 32 reduces the calculation pitch width, upon generation of negative value, to perform the calculation.
