<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas separating system and a pump used in the gas separating system making the pump free of maintenance even when a gas separating mechanism is provided integrally to the pump. <P>SOLUTION: A hydrogen circulation pump P has inside of a cylinder 30 partitioned into a first chamber 33 and a second chamber 34 and a piston ring 39 intervenes between a piston 31 and the cylinder 30. Hydrogen is moved to the second chamber 34 passing a clearance between the cylinder 30 and the piston ring 39 in a compressing process of hydrogen off gas in the first chamber 33. Furthermore, the compressing process is terminated by a control apparatus 25 by making a third valve V3 into a closed state when during the compressing process and before nitrogen with greater viscosity coefficient compared to hydrogen with smallest viscosity coefficient is passed through the clearance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
