PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing system, etc., capable of changing the function of a sub-system without adding a configuration to read information which is stored in an external storage device. SOLUTION: The processing system 100 includes: a main system 120 for performing at least image processing; the sub-system 110 having at least an external interface function; a shared storage part 140 for storing variable information 144 to be updated during the operation of the main system 120; and a control part 130 for controlling an access to the shared storage part 140.
