Pump arrangement comprises plunger housings (4, 4') with controllable plungers (3, 3') detachedly arranged on a process plate (1) with channel sections (6, 7) passing through the plate. A moving elastic membrane (5, 5') is clamped in each housing and covers a recess (11, 11') in the plate. One concentrically clamped membrane forms a moving separating element with the plunger between the plate and the housing so that the membrane completely contacts a plunger surface of a plunger on the membrane side to press the membrane into the contour of the recess. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Control device for controlling the pump arrangement; and (2) Method for controlling the pump arrangement. Preferred Features: The outlet openings (9, 9') and the inlet openings (10, 10') of the channels lying next to each other in one plane of the plate are connected by the recesses to convey a fluid.
