PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption, using a simple circuit configuration. SOLUTION: A control circuit 4 applies a control signal to a driving signal generation circuit 3, the control signal having a fixed pulse width longer than a turn-on time of thyristors 11, 12 and being continued at fixed pulse intervals, each being shorter than a turn-off time of the thyristors 11, 12. Based on the control signal from the control circuit 4, the drive signal generation circuit 3 applies a drive current signal between a gate terminal 11c and a cathode terminal 11b of the thyristor 11 and between a gate terminal 12c and a cathode terminal 12b of the thyristor 12.
