PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly predict a colorimetric value of a point between lattice points from a colorimetric value of patches of the lattice points with respect to color processing for creating a color conversion table for a printer. SOLUTION: First patches are generated corresponding to each of lattice points obtained by dividing an input color space and second patches corresponding to the certain lattice points and points between the lattice points (S1, S4). These patches are printed on the same kinds of different recording media (S2, S5), and a first colorimetry result of the first patches and a second colorimetric result of the second patches are acquired (S3, S6). Then, by using a distance on a color space of a colorimetric value of a point between the lattice points in the second colorimetric result, and a colorimetric value of lattice points around this point as a weight, a colormetric value of the point between the lattice points is calculated by interpolation (S7) from a measured value of the lattice points around this point in the first colorimetric result.
