PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopically extensible rod reduced in fabrication charge and capable of preventing locked state. SOLUTION: A joining part B retaining a small diameter side rod body 1 in a extended state to a large diameter side rod body 2 is provided, wherein the joining part B comprises a straight cylinder part 2B formed on the large diameter side rod body 2 and having a contact surface with a constant diameter, and projection surface parts 1a formed on the small diameter side rod body 1 and contacting to the contact surface of the straight cylinder part 2B. The surfaces layer of the projection surface parts 1a, contacting to the straight cylinder part 2B are formed with a prepreg obtained by impregnating a resin to a reinforcing fiber c group obtained by arranged and set along the rod axis X direction.
