摘要 A fuel cell system has a normal mode and a gas leak detection mode. The fuel cell system includes a fuel cell, a fuel gas supply unit for supplying a fuel gas to the fuel cell, an isolation valve arranged in a flow path for introducing fuel gas supplied from the fuel gas supply unit to the fuel cell and capable of isolating supply of the fuel gas, and a pressure adjusting valve arranged in a flow path between the isolation valve and the fuel cell for adjusting the pressure of the fuel gas at the downstream with respect to the supply direction of the fuel gas so as to be a set value and capable of adjusting the set value. In this fuel cell system in the normal mode, the set pressure value of the pressure adjusting valve is set to a normal generation pressure value for performing normal generation. In the gas leak detection mode, the isolation valve is closed and the set pressure value of the pressure adjusting value is set higher than the set pressure value for normal generation for detecting leak of fuel gas from the isolation valve. By setting the set pressure value of the pressure adjusting valve, it is possible to rapidly reduce a pressure of the fuel gas in the flow path between the isolation valve and the pressure adjusting valve.
