A carbon nano-tube with excellent I-V characteristic for electron emission device is provided to have peak in specific range of spectrum band on electron energy loss spectrum and used as electron emitter to produce an electron emission device with high brightness and longer duration by forming the nano-tube through electric discharging, laser vapor deposition, gas phase composition, thermal-chemical vapor deposition, plasma chemical vapor deposition, etc. The carbon nano-tube has peak in a range of spectrum band between 280eV and 290eV, and 290eV to 300eV on electron energy loss spectrum and is contained in electron emitter. The electron emitter is formed by directly growing the carbon nano-tube on a substrate or by using a paste composition containing the carbon nano-tube. The electron emission device includes: a substrate; a cathode electrode formed on the substrate; and the electron emitter that is electrically connected to the cathode electrode, and is formed by printing the paste composition on the substrate; calcining the printed composition; and activating the calcined material to produce the electron emitter. |
