A dome-type switch is provided to obtain the reliability of the switch when an alien substance is inserted in the dome by forming two contact pads inside a metal dome. A dome-type switch electrically connects a dome and two contact pads(10,20) when an external pressure is applied. The contact pads are positioned in the dome. The dome is not contacted with one of two contact pads before the external pressure is applied. The two contact pads are spaced apart from each other at a certain interval.
