<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an album creating apparatus that can lay out images appropriately in accordance with the content of the images. <P>SOLUTION: The album creating apparatus comprises: an album template storage section for storing a plurality of album templates defining design forms of albums; a unit template storage section for storing a plurality of unit templates defining design forms of partial layout regions continuous in each of the plurality of album templates stored in the album template storage section; a unit template selecting section for selecting one unit template from the plurality of album templates stored in the unit template storage section according to the content of images in each image group classified in each layout region according to the content of images placed on an album; and a layout section for laying out the images included in each image group in the layout region of the unit template selected by the unit template selecting section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
