<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic precipitator which secures a dust collecting function and enhances a deodorizing function, and to provide an air conditioner equipped with the electrostatic precipitator. <P>SOLUTION: The electrostatic precipitator D is constituted of an ionizing part 40 placed in the upstream side of an air supply passage 15, charging dust and equipped with discharge electrodes 21 and opposed electrodes 23 installed facing to the discharge electrodes; and a dust collecting part 50 placed in the downstream side of the air supply passage of the ionizing part, equipped with high voltage electrode 26 and a dust collection side grounding electrodes 24 installed facing to the high voltage electrode, and collecting the charged dust. The electrode surface of at least either one side of the high voltage electrodes or the dust collecting side grounding electrodes is coated with a deodorizing agent Z having an adsorbing component such as zeolite and a catalyst component such as titanium oxide (TiO2) and silver (Ag). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
