PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crime prevention system, capable of transmitting an image by which whether a monitored object is abnormal or not can be appropriately determined without increasing the transmission time of image.

SOLUTION: This crime prevention system comprises an imaging part for imaging a monitoring area; a transmission pattern storage part storing a plurality of transmission patterns which defines the transmission order of a plurality of partial areas in an image taken by the imaging part; a transmission pattern selection part selecting one transmission pattern from the plurality of transmission patterns stored in the transmission pattern storage part based on the content of the image taken by the imaging part; and an image transmission part successively transmitting the plurality of partial areas in the image taken by the imaging part according to a transmission order shown by the transmission pattern selected by the transmission pattern selection part.
