PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly practical laser beam generator where laser stabilization is performed by using two gas cells of saturation absorption and linear absorption. SOLUTION: In a linear absorption stabilization laser beam generator 10, primary control is performed on a linear absorption gas cell 161, and secondary control is performed on a saturation absorption gas cell 252 by a laser control unit 20. A laser frequency is controlled to within several MHz from a center of saturation absorption by primary control, and saturation absorption is controlled by second control.
