PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic timepiece for suppressing a scanning region such as a lever to the minimum and surely engaging and releasing timepiece gear trains. SOLUTION: The electronic timepiece 1 includes: a rigid lever 70 engaged with one end of a going-in and out winding stem 50 between a normal pointer operation position and a pointer turning position and rotatable around a rotation center shaft line in response to going-in and out of the winding stem; the timepiece gear train 9 rotated around another center shaft line parallel to first and second wheels 20 and 40 rotated concentrically around the common center shaft line C and a common center shaft line, and provided with a third wheel 30 engaged with the first and second wheels; and a slide member 60 for parallel moving the stem of the third wheel to release engagement of the third wheel and the first wheel in a separation direction from the first wheel when drawing the winding stem 50 by providing a bearing part 61 rotatably supporting one end of the stem of the third wheel and being rotatably supported on a supporter 2 in a direction joining the center of the third wheel and the centers of the first and second wheels to be engaged with the other end side of the lever.
