PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of an underground structure skeleton for constructing the underground structure skeleton provided with an arch-like upper floor system with satisfactory construction property in a short construction term by dispensing with high lift work. SOLUTION: This construction method comprises cutting process for repeating the work for digging an inward part delimited by a constructed soil retaining wall 5 and stretching a short strut 6 between the soil retaining walls and cutting up to the depth beyond an installation planned section of the arch-like upper floor system 3 while supporting side load Ft on the soil retaining wall to form a cut space S, a bottom part forming process for constructing a lower floor system 7 in a bottom part of the cut space, a cut space opening process for repeating the work for forming a wall body 4 up to a part below the short strut positioned just above along the soil retaining wall, back-filling 9 a section between the wall body and the soil retaining wall, and removing the short strut to transfer side load from the soil retaining wall to the wall body, constructing the wall body continuously with the lower floor system, and removing all the short struts, an arch-like floor system forming process for constructing the arch-like upper floor system on the wall body, and a cut space back-filling process for back-filling covering soil 2 into the inward part of the soil retaining wall.
